This three-week program welcomes middle teachers into the labs at ²ÝÁñÉçÇøÈë¿Ú. Through hands-on research experiences and exposure to cutting-edge biotechnology at various Advanced Technology Cores, teachers will develop lesson plans to implement in their classrooms, enhancing their Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) instruction.
- Application will be available soon for middle school teachers.
- Participants who complete the three weeks summer program and the year-long follow-up program will receive a stipend.
BRITE partners research technology training experience with scientific literature reading and professional development, all aimed at advancing the educator’s proficiency in delivering science education in schools. There are approximately two hours of required training and paperwork for participants before the program starts.
