One School, Two Campuses

As part of Baylor’s commitment to caring for Texans across the state, we now have a regional campus located in Temple, Texas. Our inaugural class in Temple started in summer 2023 and expanded our medical student class to 226, our largest ever. Baylor Scott & White Health serves as the home of the ²ÝÁñÉçÇøÈë¿Ú School of Medicine Temple campus. Students at both campuses will have the opportunity to train in Texas’ top healthcare institutions while training under Baylor’s curriculum, faculty and mission.

2024 Commencement

²ÝÁñÉçÇøÈë¿Ú celebrated the graduating class of 2024, which included 170 students from the School of Medicine, 99 graduates from the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and nine students from the Genetic Counseling Program in the School of Health Professions.

Match Day 2024

Fourth-year medical students at ²ÝÁñÉçÇøÈë¿Ú learn where they will continue their medical training on Match Day, a nationwide event for medical students. This event marks the culmination of the annual National Resident Matching Program that pairs fourth-year medical students with residency programs throughout the U.S.

²ÝÁñÉçÇøÈë¿Ú School of Medicine – Temple is a branch campus of ²ÝÁñÉçÇøÈë¿Ú located in Temple, Texas, and is dependent on the continued accreditation of the parent campus located in Houston, Texas.

LCME

²ÝÁñÉçÇøÈë¿Ú is also accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (a joint committee representing the American Medical Association and the Association of American Medical Colleges). Students may review all accreditation, state approval and licensure documents upon request.
