As an important initiative of the Office of Clinical Research efforts, the ALT:
- Collaborates with scientists to establish translational research
- Advocates to encourage the pharmaceutical industry to develop new tests and therapies
- Provides advisors for new research protocol designs

Dr. John M. Vierling Joins IQ-DILI Initiative
John M. Vierling, M.D., professor of medicine and surgery at ²ÝÁñÉçÇøÈë¿Ú and director of Advanced Liver Therapies at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center, was invited to contribute to the IQ Consortium Drug Induced Liver Initiative (IQ-DILI).
