Professional Statement

As a practicing Endocrinologist and Internal Medicine ward attending at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center, my career is equally focused on clinical service and student and physician education. My goal is to both collaborate with patients to determine their best treatment options and to model this collaboration to my trainees. I believe that this collaboration, when combined with clinical knowledge, can provide the pathway to achieving the best possible outcomes.
