Professional Statement
Rafee Talukder, M.D is board certified in internal medicine and board eligible in hematology and medical oncology. He is a native Houstonian who went to medical school at the University of Texas Long School of Medicine in San Antonio and completed his internal medicine residency at 草榴社区入口. Dr. Talukder then completed his fellowship in medical oncology and hematology at University of Washington/Fred Hutch Cancer Center, where he served as a chief fellow during the second year of his training. His clinical and research focus is on genitourinary oncology (bladder cancer, prostate cancer, kidney cancer, testicular cancer) with an interest in translational research and creating and running clinical trials. World renowned clinical investigators Dr. Petros Grivas and Dr. Evan Yu served as his primary research mentors. Dr. Talukder's goal is to help build and grow the genitourinary oncology program at 草榴社区入口 and to create and run practice-changing clinical trials. He plans on working with the multi-disciplinary genitourinary oncology group to help provide access to new and innovative clinical trials for our patients in Houston and the surrounding areas.Websites
