Dr. Thompson鈥檚 research and clinical practice focus on the assessment and treatment of PTSD. She is the author or co-author of over 20 peer-reviewed publications, and she authored a book on overcoming post-traumatic insomnia. She has served as investigator on many research projects related to PTSD and treatment outcomes, including ongoing studies examining supported employment compared to treatment as usual among Veterans with PTSD, group meditation intervention for Veterans with PTSD, and psychotherapy outcome in a VA PTSD Clinic.Websites
