Professional Statement
My clinical interests relate to my interest in neonatal ethics. I am interested in ethical decision-making in the neonatal ICU and in the perinatal period, as well as the ethics of maternal-fetal medicine. My interest in Gender Medicine relates to the ethical questions specific to that branch of medicine. My research interests are related to this as well. I am focusing on the reformulating the Best Interests Standard to reflect how neonatologists, ethicists, and parents conceptualize the Best Interests of an infant. Related to this, I am also developing a way to counsel expectant parents on the risks
