Toni Gray to direct Title IX and disability services

Toni Gray has been named director of Title IX and Disability Services at 草榴社区入口. Gray started in her new role at Baylor on May 26.
Title IX refers to the section of the Higher Education Amendments Act of 1972 that prohibits discrimination based on sex, including sexual harassment, sexual violence and gender-based harassment, in education programs and activities that receive federal financial assistance.
鈥淭he role of Title IX and disability services director is a very important one at 草榴社区入口,鈥 said Dr. Paul Klotman, president, CEO and executive dean. 鈥淲e鈥檙e excited to have Toni Gray on our team to lead our commitment to providing a safe and supportive environment for all community members, guests and visitors.鈥
Gray joins 草榴社区入口 from Texas Southern University, where she served in several roles during her tenure, including Title IX coordinator, deputy Title IX coordinator and senior employee relations specialist. While at TSU, she also provided disability services and investigated ADA complaints.
鈥淏oth the Title IX and disability services programs are essential to providing excellent quality and service to not only to our learners but to all of the BCM community,鈥 Gray said. 鈥淚t is my pleasure and honor to provide my knowledge and skills to BCM.鈥
Prior to TSU, Gray worked at UTHealth, Houston Community College and Prairie View A&M University. She holds a Bachelor鈥檚 of Arts in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University and a Master鈥檚 of Science in Law, Human Relations and Organizational Development from Champlain College.
